As we prepare to open submissions for the 40th International Symposium on Combustion, we would like to remind you to ensure that you can successfully access your Editorial Manager (EM) account.
If you are logging into Editorial Manager for the first time, or after a long period of inactivity, you may be prompted to respond to their diversity and inclusion questionnaire. This consists of three questions related to demographic information, and is motivated by a desire to improve the editorial process. If you do not wish to report this data, you have the choice to opt out by selecting “I prefer not to disclose” at the bottom of the list of possible answers.
Self-reporting any diversity data is entirely voluntary and optional. While the questions cannot technically be skipped, you can select “I prefer not to disclose” for any and all questions. Any questions regarding this questionnaire can be directed to office@combustioninstitute.org.
