Early registration is now open for the CI’s 40th International Symposium – Emphasizing Energy Transition in Milan, Italy. The Combustion Institute encourages members to register prior to the early registration deadline of 23 June 2024. After that date, registration rates will increase.

Information about additional items, including the banquet, excursion, Women in Combustion luncheon, Early Career Researcher Mixer and more are available on the Symposium website. The website also hosts details about the technical program, including Work-in-Progress Poster (WiPP) submissions. Additional elements, such as oral presentation instructions and sessions on industry perspectives will be posted in the coming weeks.

Located in the northern region of Lombardy, Milan has long been recognized as a cultural epicenter offering visitors history, art, museums, and famous landmarks. The CI’s 40th International Symposium – Emphasizing Energy Transition will convene in Milan, Italy from Sunday, 21 July through Friday, 26 July 2024. The biennial symposium provides a scientific venue for sharing ideas and experiences on the development and applications of combustion science.
