The Combustion Institute is excited to announce the release of the Call for Applications for the Women in Combustion Advisory Committee.
Committee members will work collaboratively to generate and implement new ideas on how to increase the opportunities and involvement of women in combustion. Topics for consideration may include symposia planning and programming, mentoring and educational opportunities, and the future of combustion.
Applicants must possess a desire to work collaboratively with fellow committee members, a willingness to attend and participate in committee meetings, and the ability to develop messaging to publicize the unique needs of women in combustion.
Applications can be submitted using the Women in Combustion Advisory Committee Application Form. If you have trouble accessing the Google Form, you can download and complete the Word Doc found here, and email a PDF version of your reviewer information sheet to renny@combustioninstitute.org. If preferred, a PDF template is also available for you to review and complete here. Applications must be submitted by 23:59 EST, 13 October 2023. Interested female candidates can find all relevant information in the Call for Applications.
