CFD for Combustion Safety

March 21, 2023 - March 21, 2023
Host: Dr. Thierry Poinsot poinsot@cerfacs.fr

The objective of this meeting is to gather experts in the field of simulations of safety scenarios associated to combustion (fires, explosions, flame-wall interactions, inhibition, etc.), to exchange information and build collaborations on the fundamentals of combustion safety.

We will have presentations by various companies on their approaches for safety and the place of simulations in their safety studies. This will be followed by presentations of CERFACS tools and results in the field of high-fidelity simulations and of laboratories involved in experimental validations of safety scenarios. The meeting format is face-to-face, in the conference center of Meteo France. Registration is free but mandatory at this address:

An informal poster session will also be held during the day and participants are welcome to bring one (please indicate the poster title during registration).
