27th "Journees D'etudes" of the Belgian Section of The Combustion Institute – Combustion in the Energy Transition: Mitigation Strategies, Low-Carbon Solutions and Circular Processes
The meeting is organised under the auspices of the Belgian Section of The Combustion Institute. Its objectives include both fundamental research and industrial applications relevant to combustion processes. The purpose is to have an overview of the most recent research efforts in the combustion field and to provide opportunities for scientists and engineers to establish collaboration.
Any topic relevant to either fundamental or applied research in combustion is welcome. The scope of the seminar “Selected topics in combustion” will deal with a wide range of subjects related to reaction mechanisms, heat transfer, furnaces and burners, flame structures, modelling, flame inhibition, incineration, pollutants emission, detonation phenomena, fire, etc.
Confirmed speakers:
- Prof. Dr. Katharina Kohse-Höinghaus, Universitaet Bielefeld
- Dr. Benedetta Franzelli, EM2C, CNRS, Université Paris Saclay
- Prof. Alberto Cuoci, Politecnico di Milano
