10th International Conference on Chemical Kinetics (ICCK 2017)
The ICCK will be co-hosted by University of Illinois at Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory at UIC in downtown Chicago. The ICCK conference was established in 1985 in Gaithersburg at the National Institute of Standards to bring together investigators from universities, research laboratories, and industrial organizations to review progress and problems in theoretical and experimental chemical kinetics. This cross-disciplinary meeting highlights the importance of fundamental understanding of elementary reactions to the full range of chemical investigations in both gas and condensed phases. The scope was further broadened at the 9th ICCK to include studies of heterogeneously catalyzed reactions and polymer engineering. With its broadened scope and the cross-disciplinary research of its attendees, the ICCK meetings provide a unique forum to discuss how the same reactive species and reaction motifs manifest under very different reaction conditions (e.g. atmospheric, aqueous, combustion, plasma, in nonaqueous solvents, on surfaces…).
