The Combustion Institute is pleased to announce Sessions on Industry Perspectives will debut at the 36th International Symposium on Combustion in Seoul, Korea. The new feature is designed to bring about closer interactions between industry and members of our combustion science community.

Delegates from a broad spectrum of industries will provide their views and industry perspectives on topical research issues. Speakers will address the audience on a range of colloquia and identify hot research issues currently faced by their respective industries that may challenge our delegates.

Sessions are scheduled for multiple days of the Symposium, with two speaker per session. Each presentation will be followed by a panel discussion to highlight the key points of the session and bridge whatever issues are raised. Several speakers have kindly agreed to contribute to the inaugural Industry Perspectives sessions. Details about the timing and location of sessions will be found in the Symposium Program.

The 36th International Symposium on Combustion will convene at the Coex Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul, Korea from Sunday, 31 July through Friday, 5 August 2016. Members who have not yet registered for the Symposium are encouraged to begin the process.
