The submissions portal for one-page abstracts regarding Work in Progress Posters (WiPPs) for the 37th International Symposium on Combustion will open on the symposium website in February 2018. WiPP authors can submit their abstracts to the 13 colloquium categories defined in the call for papers, or they can submit to a new Education and Outreach colloquium. Submissions must be received by the deadline of 23:59 PST, 26 April 2018. Authors will be notified of decisions concerning WiPPs by 3 May 2018.

Academic posters summarize a body of research in a visually engaging way that provides a clear, logical presentation of work. Accepted posters will be determined on the basis of submitted abstracts. In the coming months, poster authors will be able to find more information about storage and presentation instructions on the WiPP Presentation Instructions page of the symposium website.

Dedicated WiPP sessions will be centrally located on the ground floor of the Dublin Convention Centre, easily accessible during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks. Available throughout each day of the symposium, the location of WiPPs will enable maximum interaction between presenters and their audiences.

Poster sessions will be organized by the WiPP Co-Chairs:

Perrine Pepiot, Chair, Cornell University, United States
Matthew Cleary, University of Sydney, Australia
Alessio Frassoldati, Politecnico di Milano, Italy
