The Combustion Institute is pleased to announce the Elsevier Editorial System (EES) is open for manuscript submissions in regards to the 37th International Symposium on Combustion. The deadline for submissions of completed works is 23:59 PST, 30 November 2017. Authors should download the Call for Papers and the Instructions to Authors for Manuscript Preparation to ensure manuscripts are ready for submission and review.

As stated in the Call for Papers, “The selection of papers for the symposium is based on the quality and scientific rigor of the submissions evaluated in a peer-review process. Authors are highly encouraged to provide assessment of experimental/numerical uncertainty and its impact on the interpretation of results and conclusions.”

Manuscripts submitted for the symposium are limited to 5800 words, excluding title block, abstract, and separate list of figure captions. They must also be written in grammatically correct, concise English. Other manuscript guidelines can be found in the author instructions. Colloquium categories are defined in the Call for Papers.

The 37th Symposium will convene in Dublin, Ireland from Sunday, 29 July through Friday, 3 August 2018. The biennial symposium provides a scientific venue for sharing ideas and experiences on the development and applications of combustion science. As an internationally recognized city, Dublin offers our combustion community world-class opportunities to interact with scientists and companies in an exciting and dynamic environment.
