Thank you to all authors who have already submitted their manuscript for the 39th International Symposium on Combustion. As a reminder, formatting for submissions is different from previous symposia. The strict word limit has been replaced by a page limit based upon a draft manuscript that must be submitted in the final two-column published format. Complete instructions and templates are available on the 39th Symposium website.

If you do not follow the instructions and template, your manuscript will be sent back to you and you will be asked to resubmit.

Instructions on how to submit a manuscript in Editorial Manager (EM) can be found on the 39th Symposium website. If you have not activated your Editorial Manager (EM) account, you must do so prior to submitting your manuscripts to PROCI. Inability to access your account will not be accepted as a reason for failed submissions. Also, please allow yourself adequate time to create and submit your manuscript within EM. Manuscripts that are not “built” and “submitted” by the deadline on 23:59 PST, 5 January 2022, will not be accepted for consideration.

Questions regarding the manuscript submission process can be directed to the CI office: Office@CombustionInstitute.org.
