The Combustion Institute is pleased to announce that the Call for Nominations for the 2023 Hiroshi Tsuji Early Career Researcher Award has been released.

Started in 2016, the Hiroshi Tsuji Early Career Researcher Award is given every year to recognize up to two early career researchers who have made a significant contribution to advance their field of research, which should fall under the broad umbrella of fundamental or applied combustion or combustion-related fields. Each winning researcher will receive US$10,000 and the presentation of the award takes place at the biennial International Symposia on Combustion.

The award is named the Hiroshi Tsuji Early Career Researcher Award in recognition of Professor Hiroshi Tsuji’s many important contributions to combustion science.

Nominations can be submitted through the CI’s Account Management System (AMS) Portal through 23:59 EDT on 15 November 2022. Questions or suggestions regarding potential nominations may be directed to The Combustion Institute: office@combustioninsitute.org.
