The Combustion Institute Board of Directors and Site Selection Committee are excited to announce that the 40th International Symposium on Combustion will be held in Milan, Italy in July 2024.
The committee received a number of high-quality bids. Thank you to all who prepared detailed and excellent presentations to the Board of Directors for consideration. Thank you to Jeff Bergthorson, Chair of the Site Selection Committee for his assistance and coordination of the presentations.
The International Symposium on Combustion is the world congress and major biennial meeting of The Combustion Institute. Symposia provide combustion scientists, students, and practitioners around the world a scientific venue for sharing ideas and experiences on the development and applications of combustion science.
