UCI Combustion Institute-Summer School 2023: "Experimental Combustion: Past, Present, & Future"
The UCI Combustion Institute-Summer School (UCI CI-SS) provides the opportunity for graduate students to network with peers in the same research area, and to learn from faculty, researchers and experienced scientists via conversations, course lecturers, hands-on experiments, poster sessions and mixers.
The summer school is focused on diversity in all facets, and talented professors/research professionals will share their valuable experimental experience with the next generation (future).
In addition the UCI CI-SS includes three critical distinguishing features: (1) A heavy orientation towards experimental combustion; (2) A commitment to access, diversity, equity, and inclusion (ADEI) in all elements; and (3) An understanding of the past, the current state-of-the art, and the future of combustion.
Join us for the week long residential experience with a mix of research professionals from 20-25 August!
