The 2018 Australian Combustion Summer School (ACSS) is a no-charge educational conference that is strongly supported by both International and Australia and New Zealand Section of Combustion Institute. The 2018 ACSS is scheduled to take place on December 16 to 21, 2018 in Sydney, Australia. The summer school is mainly targeted at graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, but is also open to young academics in universities and industry professionals.
The 1st ACSS will be hosted by the Australian Section of the Combustion Institute, and will be held on December 16 to 21, 2018 in Sydney, Australia. The organising committee is spread between The University of Sydney an UNSW Sydney. The aim of the conference is to provide the future leaders of energy conversion technologies and the next-generation combustion researchers with the opportunity to receive an intensive educational experience from well-esteemed experts, in the technical areas of energy conversion, combustion theory, experiment, computation, fundamentals, and applications. The summer school will also include social activities and laboratory visits that will be organized between the lectures, so that the summer school participants will also have the opportunity to discuss and work to build their own network.
