Welcome to Women in Combustion!
Who are we? |
Women in Combustion (WiC) is made up of industry professionals, students, professors and government workers whose goal is to promote and advance women in the field of combustion.
The kick-off meeting of Women in Combustion took place at the 5th National Combustion Institute meeting, on March 25-28, 2007, in San Diego, CA. The coffee was co-organized by Professor Janet Ellzey of the University of Texas and Dr. Masha Petrova from Reaction Design The event was funded by Reaction Design. The turnout was overwhelming. We received tremendous response from women in all stages of their careers in the combustion field. |
